THE CHALLENGE
- Prospective families needed to feel welcomed and informed before they had set foot on site
- The Head needed a direct, personal line to prospective parents — something a written welcome message alone couldn’t deliver
- Three distinct perspectives — parents, teachers and pupils — each needed their own space to speak candidly about life at Bishopsgate
- All four videos needed to feel cohesive and professional, sitting together naturally within the school’s website
OUR APPROACH
The Head’s Welcome was built around a pre-prepared script, loaded onto our autocue ahead of the shoot. This allowed us to map each section to specific locations around the school, ensuring the footage and the Head’s words worked seamlessly together. On the day, he delivered his welcome directly to camera via autocue, giving a natural, assured performance. Alongside this, we captured candid testimonials with parents, teachers and pupils, plus b-roll across the grounds, with the kind weather showing Bishopsgate at its best.
In post-production, the Head’s Welcome was cut together with the b-roll and the school’s existing drone assets into a single, cohesive film. The three testimonials were edited separately, weaving multiple voices into natural, flowing conversations, with opening and closing titles giving each film a clean, professional finish.
