THE CHALLENGE
- The existing site no longer reflected the standard of the school — in a competitive premium market, the digital first impression had to match the in-person experience
- The Belgravia location and beautiful premises are genuine selling points — showcasing them required something more compelling than a standard photography grid
- Year group pages from EYFS through Year 6 required consistent architecture, manageable by the school team without developer support
- The admissions journey needed to be conversion-focused, with clear entry points for 3+, 4+, 7+, and occasional places
- Destination schools data and leavers’ outcomes needed prominent placement — the single most important piece of information for families at this level
OUR APPROACH
The standout deliverable was a bespoke exploded interactive campus map, a custom-designed aerial representation of the school’s Belgravia premises, with interactive hotspots for key areas (classrooms, hall, art room, garden, etc.). Each hotspot opens a modal with photography and a short description, giving prospective families a genuine sense of the school before they even visit.
Beyond this feature, Innermedia delivered a full bespoke redesign, balancing the premium feel of the school’s setting with the warmth and energy of prep school life. The production process included a comprehensive snag phase and CMS training for the admin team.
